The Outreach Playbook

An un-opinionated collection of cold-emailing skills — the library that powers an agent who can walk you through named marketing approaches concretely and keep your campaigns stylistically coherent.

Cold outreach has no single orthodoxy: on most questions that matter — how long an email should be, how deeply to personalize, how many touches to send — several legitimate, named approaches coexist, each with people and data behind it. This library collects them side by side. Where practitioners genuinely disagree, a page presents the schools with Fits when / Avoid when criteria and a stated default for when you'd rather delegate the pick; every number carries its year; every claim has a source. The pages summarize and credit — they never copy. The editorial stance is neutrality: the library equips a choice, it doesn't crown winners.

It's written for the assistant working your campaigns — and, on the web, for the human behind it.

How to read any page

Every path in the contents below is fetchable as an MCP resource: the page listed as playbook/04-writing-the-email is the resource docs://playbook/04-writing-the-email, and the full catalog is one resource listing away. Cross-links inside any page are the same tree-rooted paths, so the same mapping fetches them. On the web, the same tree lives under /playbook/ on this server's site. describe("playbook") serves only this front page — deeper describe calls return a short pointer back here, so resource reads (static, cacheable) are the way in.

Today, Orientation and the writing, personalization and sequences modules carry their full pages; the other module indexes summarize the module and carry its sources while their pages are written.
